Grid Simulator + PHIL 30kVA to 1.1+ MVA

The GSZ Series is regenerative Grid Simulator with optional 4-Quatrant e-Load and PHIL interface. Designed to emulate global grid conditions for compliance and testing as per global regulatory compliance standards such as IEEE 1547, UL 1741, IEC 61000-3, IEC 61000-4, and more.

The GSZ’s single cabinet offers 30kVA, 45kVA, or 55kVA/kW and units can be paralleled up three-Phase High Power Systems  of 1.1+MW based on your requirements. 

GSZ platform is optimized for Power-Hardware-in-Loop PHIL, with three powerful DSPs for controls and measurements to cover advanced applications.

The GSZ series supports low and high voltage ranges for AC or DC which helps to offer Constant power for wide voltage range. The Low Voltage range 0-240 Vac LN / 0-415 Vac LL and High Voltage range 0-480 Vac LN / 0-830 Vac LL offers widest Operating Envelope.

Power Hardware in Loop with High Speed Analog I/O

For real-time Power Hardware in Loop (PHIL)grid simulation applications, the GSZ offers a high speed set of analog inputs and outputs with fast output response. This analog interface provides high speed input for controlling frequency, voltage or current and waveshape. Voltage and Current output capture signals are returned to the Real Time Simulation System.

Easily Simulate Harmonics and Interharmonics

The Regenerative Grid Simulator – GSZ Series has a built-in waveform digitizer and scope with fast transient capabilities at 200µs time resolution supporting LIST, PULSE and STEP modes. Waveform generation includes ten Standard, Sine, Square, Triangle, Clipped and Harmonics AND inter-harmonics generation.

Flexible Output Configurations For Grid Tied Products

AC and DC operation of modes per phase (or channel), and the automatic switching of output modes provides test engineers with a unique capability and the highest degree of flexibility. Isolated Neutral per phase allows user to operate GSZ in AC, DC, AC+DC, DC+AC output configurations available in single, split, three phase and multi-channels.
