The LMX Series delivers low-distortion, high-fidelity AC power through precision linear amplification, ensuring accurate waveform reproduction across a wide small-signal bandwidth. Operating from 15Hz to 5,000Hz, models provide output voltages up to 600Vrms L-N and power levels ranging from 500VA to 30kVA. Available in both single-phase and three-phase configurations, the LMX Series offers scalable solutions from 500VA standalone units to parallel systems up to 30kVA.

Linear AC Power Source Allows for High Crest Factor, Low Distortion & High Fidelity Output Waveforms

The linear amplifier architecture used in the LMX Series enables the generation of high crest factor, low-distortion output waveforms required by demanding AC test applications. Available from 500VA to 6kVA as standalone units and scalable up to 30kVA through parallel operation, the LMX Series supports both single-phase and three-phase configurations.

Designed conservatively for demanding input conditions, output voltage, power factor, and temperature variations, the LMX Series maintains excellent waveform quality across dynamic loads. Combined with low output impedance and high crest factor performance, it delivers exceptionally clean AC power for critical testing applications.

Wide Selection of Voltage Ranges (T Option)

LMX Series systems support output ranges up to 135VLN / 270VLL for single-phase operation and 135VLN / 234VLL for three-phase configurations. Optional transformer-coupled output configurations (T Option) provide extended output voltage capability up to 600V in single-phase operation and 585V in three-phase operation.

Generate Advanced Waveforms and Transients

Voltage, waveform, and frequency outputs can be programmed directly through an intuitive spreadsheet-style interface. Data may be entered independently for each phase or synchronized across all phases. Built-in transient modes include List, Pulse, and Step operation, while waveform generation supports clipped sine, square, triangle, THD, stepped square, and arbitrary waveforms.

  • All single-phase output units are operable with dual voltage ranges as listed. Three-phase units are operable as single-phase with dual voltage range capability or as three-phase. Output voltage ranges and 1ø/3ø conversions are selected by front panel or bus commands.
  • Output voltage ranges listed are for standard units. VMAX is output voltage with nominal input and full rated load applied. Other voltage ranges are available with the output magnetics options.
  • Peak Repetitive Pulse Current.
  • Single-phase input: 100, 110, 120, 208, 220, and 240 VAC ±10%. Three-phase input: 208, 220, 240, 380, 416, and 480 VAC ±10%. (480 V input and 400 Hz input are each available as a cost option.)
